After saving the Council, Lumin has a meeting with the Snow Queen and Plant Queen.
The Council members tell him about the erasing of the Fire Queen and the unrest she caused with her creation.
The Council plan on making the Fire Princess the new Queen but they fear that there will still be a void in the universe. They want Lumin's help in finding a new Fire Princess.
Lumin takes the opportunity to off that Alex Ko Son become the new Queen instead. The Council rejects the idea on the basis that they can't let an outsider hold a seat among the main floor and the Fire Princess can't hold a seat without being a Queen.
Lumin knows that Alex will be able to manipulate the Council to favor him more often, so he knows that he first must convince them to let her have the position.
Lumin protests that when they grant dominion of an element to someone that is favored by fate, that person gets full control, provided the position is available. Until the Princess has taken the new powers, that spot is still open.
Lumin tells them to at least interview Alex before they say no.
The Council agrees to the interview and have Alex stand before them.
Alex displays her talent in conjuring and controlling fire that she has been practicing for thousands of years.
The Council question Alex about the world and its history. They also ask her questions about her own heart.
Alex answers all of their questions with a calm certainty as any cool headed Tatayan would.
Though the Council remain skeptical of Lumin's intentions, they decide to trust Alex and give her the final test. Lumin leaves the Omin satisfied that he has gotten his way.
