The sleeping, space traveling monster known as Phdo, drifts into the proximity of Mesa.
Phdo awakens, feeling Golu's team's energy on the planet. He flies down to the planet, wild eyed, ready to consume their energy.
Erty, having been looking into the seed, tells Golu that the threat has arrived. He points to the sky.
Phdo lands on the North Masen mountain with such a force that the entire mountain shatters and falls apart.
Golu attempts to confront Phdo before he has time to emerge from the rubble but Erty stands in his way, saying that Blaster needs to do this alone for now.
Phdo rushes free from the rocks and attacks Blaster and Stinky.
Blaster tries to reason with Phdo but Phdo appears too unstable to listen.
Erty activates the seed again to learn what to do next in order to free Stinky from the fight.
Erty tells Dorm to jump in and save Stinky but Phdo gets angry at the interruption and blasts Dorm with enough energy to obliterate him beyond regeneration.
Phdo sees Erty panicking and messing with the seed, trying to form a plan. Phdo blasts Erty, past the others, just as Erty sees his own death in the seed.
With Erty and Dorm killed, Golu changes the plan and tells Vega and Cage to join him in fighting Phdo.
Phdo is too powerful, even for the remaining team members to handle all at once.
Phdo uses the team's group attacks against them, causing them to hit each other.
