While recovering at a cafe, Stager overhears a broadcast about a time-space anomaly happening in East Mesa. Sir Clayton's factory on North Mesa also picks up the signal emitted by the anomaly. The watcher telepathically tells Golu to get to the spot where time-space is breaking and recover what is about to come through from the other side.
Golu, Stager, and the Cyborg known as 421 all arrive on location at the same time. 421 laughs hysterically at his opposition.
The rift settles and what remains is a robot with a missing arm.
421 stops laughing to declare that the robot was clearly left for him. Golu also stakes a claim to the robot. Stager is just looking to get stronger by challenging groups to a fight.
The three of them being to fight in a free for all.
The East Alfred arrives and approaches the three in combat. East Alfred stops their fight to protect his land and people. He tells them to settle the conflict with words and then leave.
Unknown surprises everyone and declares that he'll just take the robot for himself.
East Alfred recognizes Unknown from the attack the North Alfred spoke to him about. East Alfred attacks Unknown. The fight provides 421 the cover he needs to take the robot and fly away with it.
With the robot gone, Unknown sighs and leaves.
A South Masen clone, The One in the Cage, breaks out of a West Masen lab and rages all over the place.
The West Alfred activates his army to destroy the clone before it desolates the entire province. The army fails.
The Watcher again tells Golu to handle the situation as a request directly from the Council.
Golu reaches the spot where the clone is still causing havoc. Golu fights the clone but also tries to talk reason with it.
The clone says that his creators called him The One in the Cage and Cage 808. He also says that he was able to read the files on his project, before he blasted them, about his Masen origins and Human makeup. He tells Golu that he can't control his rage and needs Golu to knock him out.
With the clone unconscious, Unknown shows up again. The shaman tries to take the clone from Golu but West Alfred flies in and promptly teleports Unknown far away.
