Dark Souls Spoiler Free Guide "Path S"

Difficult and not for the easily perturbed. This is a guide for the selfish and impatient. Not recommended for anyone.

This path will follow the wrath of Stu, a hungry Hollow seeking nothing but souls and power.

Like many Undead, Stu has been rounded up and locked in the Undead Asylum. It must be escaped to continue the pilgrimage to Lordran.

At Firelink Shrine, there are more Undead that have souls to take but they won't just hand them over. It will take stronger weapons to defeat them. For now, they offer information on where to get stronger. The Graveyard is full of dark magic and will serve as a stomping ground soon enough.

Easy pickings will be in the Undead Burg. Though there will be a foe or two beyond the grasp of one so early in their hunt, most will be unprepared for the thirst of the Dark Sign wielder.

Before the Bell tower of the Undead Parish, past the incessive clang of an iron, is the Darkroot Garden and a foul, flying, fiend to fell.

From the Garden passing Firelink, there is a Gift in the Catacombs beyond the Graveyard to be taken. There is also a darker Tomb further in, that will have to be returned to later.

There is very little else to do but ring the First Bell in the Undead Parish and take the souls of whatever guards it.

A key found in the Parish connecting to the Lower Undead Burg will lead to another key to open the Depths. Within the Depths is another locked door. These locks could drive one mad.

Blighttown lies on the other side as well as the Second Bell.

With the two Bells rung, a Serpent awakens in Firelink Shrine. Instead of talking to it, give it a good chop or two. That creature is no friend to a Hollow.

Returning to the Undead Asylum, if not already done, to use a key, there can be found a few useful items.

With newly found strength, the proving grounds of Sen's Fortress is nothing to fear and will be the way forward to Anor Londo.

A hunger for souls boils up within when looking at a painting hung in the halls of Anor Londo. The Painted World of Ariamis will not be a safe place for what hides there.

The Lord Vessel in hand allows for the passage down the serpent's hole in Firelink Shrine. This will be the first step to opening the Kiln.

Though many paths have opened up, there are creatures in the waters of Darkroot Garden and the Great Hollow to slay.

The power of sorceries are appealing to many wizards that may travel to the Duke's Archive. Perhaps there is much to gain from this location seen branching off of Anor Londo.

At the end of Darkroot Garden and past a sealed door, there is a beast holding souls and standing guard over the dead.

Drawn to the darkness under Firelink Shrine, to New Londo Ruins, to greater souls and ghosts.

The last pass through Darkroot, there is a place in need of assistance. Oolacile has more of the Abyss and the creatures corrupted by it.

More Lord Souls await in the Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith.

The last Lord Soul can be found in the greater darkness of the Tomb of Giants that was previously passed.

Once the four souls are obtained and given to the Lord Vessel, the prison of the Kiln of the First Flame will open and Gwen can be slain. What is done from there is not known. The flame may be linked and the Hollow will become the new Cinder or the Flame may be left extinguished and the Hollow becomes the ruler of Dark.
